Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy

Basic PDR Course — PDR Academy

Valid from: 19. 10. 2026

Version: 1.2 — change in Article 12 (cookies on the website) and a unified name for the Personal Data Protection Policy

1. Who the organiser is and what these terms cover

The organiser of the course is:

Invest Center s.r.o.

Vojtěšská 211/6, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic

IČO (company registration number): 03787184

Not registered for VAT

E-mail: info@pdracademy.eu

Telephone: +420 605 100 600

Invest Center s.r.o. operates the website, the booking system and the training courses themselves under the PDR Academy brand. "PDR Academy" is a trading name, not a separate company.

For some customers, the invoice is issued by the affiliated company Renove Cars s.r.o., Průmyslová 357, 252 50 Vestec, IČO 24843342, registered for VAT (details in article 3).

These terms apply to booking and attending the Basic PDR Course — a multi-day, in-person training course in PDR technology (paintless dent repair).

Venue: Průmyslová 357, 252 50 Vestec, Praha-západ.

By submitting the booking form, the customer confirms that they have read these terms and agree to them.

2. The booking and formation of the contract

  1. The customer books by completing and submitting the booking form on the pdracademy.eu website. The booking is binding.
  2. After the booking is submitted, the customer receives an automatic e-mail acknowledging receipt of the booking. That e-mail is merely confirmation that we have received the booking — it does not yet create a contract.
  3. The contract is formed at the moment the organiser confirms the booking — that is, when we send the customer an e-mail confirming their place on a specific course date, together with an invoice.
  4. Upon confirmation of the booking, the customer becomes obliged to pay the course price under article 3 and subject to the cancellation terms under article 5.
  5. The organiser reserves the right not to confirm a booking (for example where the course date is already full). In that case the customer pays nothing and we will offer them another date.
  6. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the details in the booking. If the details change (in particular the invoicing details or contact details), they shall notify info@pdracademy.eu.

3. Price and payment

Course price

CZK 48,000 excluding VAT.

The final amount depends on which of the companies issues the invoice to the customer:

Invoice issued byVAT statusThe customer pays
Invest Center s.r.o.not registered for VATCZK 48,000 — no VAT is added, the price is final
Renove Cars s.r.o.registered for VATCZK 48,000 + 21 % VAT = CZK 58,080

The organiser decides which company issues the invoice. The customer will see which one from the invoice they receive by e-mail. If the customer is registered for VAT and the invoice is issued by Renove Cars s.r.o., they may deduct the VAT in accordance with the law.

Payment

  1. Payment is made by bank transfer on the basis of an invoice. The invoice arrives by e-mail after the booking is confirmed.
  2. The invoice is due 14 days from its date of issue, but in every case no later than before the course begins.
  3. Payment must be made before the course takes place. Without payment having been made, it is not possible to start the course.
  4. When making payment, quote the variabilní symbol (the payment reference number used in Czech bank transfers) shown on the invoice. Without it, the payment may not be matched correctly.
  5. Reservation of a place: submitting the booking provisionally holds a place for the customer; once the organiser confirms the booking, the place is reserved. Payment of the price is a condition of participation — without payment before the course begins it is not possible to start the course and the organiser is entitled to refuse participation (see points 2 and 3). If payment does not arrive by the due date and the customer does not get in touch, the organiser may, after prior notice, offer the place to another applicant.
  6. The course price does not include travel, accommodation or meals, unless expressly stated otherwise.

4. Running of the course

  1. The course capacity is usually 4 to 6 participants. The small number is deliberate — it means every participant has enough space and enough of the instructor's attention.
  2. The course takes place once at least 4 places are taken, that is, when at least 4 participants have booked and paid for that date.
  3. If a date does not fill up, the organiser will inform the customer and offer them:
  1. The refund will be made to the account from which the payment came, within 14 days of the day on which the customer opts for a refund.
  2. In such a case the customer is not entitled to compensation for any further costs (for example tickets or accommodation already purchased).
  3. The scope of the course and the daily times are stated for each specific date on the website and in the booking confirmation (typically 08:00–14:00). The organiser will provide the exact programme and any changes by e-mail before the course takes place.

5. Cancellation by the customer (cancellation terms)

How to give notice of cancellation

Cancellation of attendance must be given in writing by e-mail to info@pdracademy.eu. What matters is the date of delivery of the e-mail to the organiser, not the date it was sent. Cancellation by telephone is not valid — always send an e-mail as well.

Cancellation fees

The cancellation fee is calculated from the course price and depends on how many days before the start of the course the cancellation was delivered:

When the cancellation is deliveredCancellation feeThe customer is refunded
more than 30 days before the start0 %the full amount
30 to 15 days before the start25 %75 % of the amount
14 to 8 days before the start50 %50 % of the amount
7 to 3 days before the start75 %25 % of the amount
less than 3 days before the start100 %nothing
failure to attend without notice100 %nothing

If the customer has not yet paid, the cancellation fee will be invoiced to them. If they have already paid, we will refund the difference to the account from which the payment came.

Sending a substitute in your place — always free of charge

The customer may at any time send a substitute — another participant who will attend in their place. In that case no cancellation fee applies (0 %), regardless of how close the course date is.

Conditions:

The customer and the substitute settle the course price between themselves.

Transfer to another date

The customer may transfer their attendance to another scheduled date once, free of charge, provided they give notice more than 15 days before the start of the original course.

6. Cancellation of the course by the organiser

  1. The organiser may cancel or postpone the course if:
  1. The organiser will inform the customer by e-mail and by telephone as soon as it learns of the reason.
  2. In such a case the customer chooses between:
  1. We will refund the money to the account from which the payment came, within 14 days.
  2. The organiser is not liable for the customer's further costs (travel, accommodation, lost profit).

7. Withdrawal from the contract within 14 days (consumers only)

Who has this right: only a consumer — that is, a natural person who is not purchasing the course in the course of their business.

Who does not have this right: business customers, that is, customers who purchase the course on a company or sole trader registration number (IČO). They are governed solely by the cancellation terms under article 5.

Conditions of withdrawal

  1. A consumer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the day the contract is concluded, without giving any reason. When the contract comes into existence is described in article 2. Where the customer signs a separate training contract, the period runs from the day it is signed.
  2. It is sufficient to send the withdrawal on the last day of the period — it does not have to have been delivered by then.
  3. The right to withdraw ceases on the day the course has been provided in full at the customer's express request (Section 1837(a) of the Czech Civil Code). Where the course date falls within the 14-day period, by signing the training contract the customer expressly requests that the organiser begin providing the course before that period expires.
  4. Send the withdrawal:
  1. You may use the model form in article 8, but you do not have to — any clear statement that you are withdrawing from the contract is sufficient.
  2. The organiser will confirm receipt of the withdrawal by e-mail.

Refund

If the consumer withdraws within the period, we will refund the full amount paid within 14 days of the day the withdrawal reached us. We will send the money back to the account from which the payment came (or to another account we agree on).

Where the course begins before the period expires

If the customer expressly requests that the course begin before the fourteen-day period expires, and then withdraws anyway, they shall pay a proportionate part of the price corresponding to the part of the course that has already taken place. We will refund the remainder.

Example: the course lasts 5 days and the customer withdraws after the 2nd day. They pay 2/5 of the price and we refund 3/5.

8. Model withdrawal form

Complete and send this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract. The form is not compulsory — any unambiguous statement is sufficient.

9. Running of the course and the participant's obligations

  1. The participant shall arrive at the venue at the stated time. The course takes place in a workshop environment.
  2. The participant is obliged to:
  1. Attending under the influence of alcohol or other addictive substances is prohibited. The organiser may exclude such a participant from the course — with no entitlement to a refund.
  2. The organiser may also exclude a participant who seriously breaches the safety rules or repeatedly disrupts the teaching. In this case too, the course price is not refunded.
  3. Tools and equipment: Participants need not bring anything with them. The basic tools for working with PDR technology will be made available on site for the entire duration of the course. We recommend bringing your own work clothing and sturdy footwear.
  4. The participant is liable for any damage they cause intentionally or through gross negligence to the organiser's equipment or premises.
  5. The organiser is not liable for the participant's personal belongings left anywhere other than in the designated places.
  6. Taking photographs and video during the course for the participant's own purposes is possible only by arrangement with the instructor. The know-how and teaching materials of PDR Academy are protected and may not be further distributed or used to teach third parties without the organiser's written consent.

9b. Prerequisites for participation and what to expect from the course

  1. Prerequisites on the participant's side. The course is practical, takes place in a workshop environment and is demanding both physically and manually. We recommend it to people who are medically fit for manual work and have manual dexterity. This is not a formal requirement and we do not turn anyone away in advance — however, participants themselves are best placed to judge whether the course is suitable for them. If you are unsure, get in touch with us before registering.
  1. ⚠️ Please be realistic in your expectations. The basic course is very intensive and fast-paced. Over two days you will learn the fundamentals of PDR technology and acquire the correct procedure — but you will not become a fully-fledged technician. PDR technology is learned through practice and repetition, not through two days of a course. We would rather say so upfront than have you be disappointed.
  1. Attending only part of the course. If a participant completes only part of the course, that is their own decision. In such a case the price is neither refunded nor reduced and no certificate is issued — a certificate is issued only for completing the course in full.
  1. How to continue — individual courses. For those who wish to develop their skills further, we offer individual courses available in the student portal after completing the basic course:
  1. Level of skills. Participants themselves decide when they are good enough in their field. The organiser neither determines nor guarantees what level of skill a participant will attain, nor how long it will take — this depends on their own work and practice.

10. Certificate

  1. A participant who completes the course receives a certificate of completion of the Basic PDR Course.
  2. Issue of the certificate is conditional on completing the course in full and on payment of the full price.
  3. The certificate is issued in the participant's name and is non-transferable.
  4. The organiser keeps a record of the certificates issued. This makes it possible to verify a certificate and to issue a duplicate if one is lost.
  5. The graduate will also find the certificate and the photograph from the presentation in their student portal.
  6. The certificate confirms completion of PDR Academy training. It is not a state-recognised (public-law) qualification, nor is it a živnostenské oprávnění (a Czech trade licence authorising you to carry on a business).
  7. Certified technicians may, on the basis of their consent, be entered in the public database of certified technicians, where anyone can verify the name, level and certificate number. Entry is voluntary, is not a condition for issuing the certificate and can be cancelled at any time; the certificate does not thereby cease to exist. Details are set out in the Personal Data Protection Policy.

11. Complaints and out-of-court dispute resolution

Complaints

  1. If the customer is not satisfied with the course, they may complain — ideally on the spot, to the instructor, so that it can be dealt with straight away.
  2. Send written complaints to info@pdracademy.eu. State your name, the course date and exactly what you are complaining about.
  3. The organiser will deal with the complaint within 30 days at the latest of its delivery and will communicate the outcome by e-mail.
  4. A consumer may complain about the service within the time limits laid down by the Czech Civil Code.

Out-of-court dispute resolution (consumers only)

If a dispute with a consumer cannot be resolved by agreement, the consumer has the right to turn to the body for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes:

Česká obchodní inspekce (the Czech Trade Inspection Authority)

Central Inspectorate — ADR Department

Štěpánská 44, 110 00 Praha 1

Web: adr.coi.cz

Out-of-court dispute resolution is free of charge for the consumer (they bear only their own costs) and is commenced at the consumer's request.

12. Personal data protection

Customers' personal data is processed by Invest Center s.r.o. as controller.

Everything is described in detail in the Personal Data Protection Policy document on the pdracademy.eu website — there you will find what data we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we pass it to and what rights you have.

In brief:

Questions about personal data: info@pdracademy.eu, +420 605 100 600.

13. Final provisions

  1. Matters not governed by these terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, in particular the občanský zákoník (zákon č. 89/2012 Sb.) — the Czech Civil Code — and, for consumers, also the zákon o ochraně spotřebitele (č. 634/1992 Sb.) — the Czech Consumer Protection Act.
  2. Communication between the organiser and the customer takes place by e-mail to the addresses given in the booking. A message is deemed delivered on the day it is sent to that address.
  3. The organiser may amend these terms. For a contract already concluded, the wording in force on the day the booking was submitted always applies — a later change does not affect the customer.
  4. The current wording of the terms is always available on the pdracademy.eu website.
  5. If any provision of these terms were to be invalid, the remainder of the terms remains in force.
  6. Nothing in these terms curtails the rights conferred on a consumer by law.
  7. These terms take effect on 19. 10. 2026 and supersede all previous wordings.
